Gary E Swift Saiko-
Sensei Swift visited the dojo again and conducted another very enjoyable seminar on core Wado priciples. Included during the seminar were Nagashizuki and Ashi (sweeping) plus Kihons and Neseshei for the Brown and black belts.
Ryan Morgan Nidan
On the 10th May Ryan Morgan passed his 2nd Dan grade held under Sensei Gary Swift
7th Dan. His grade included Kihon waza, Renwraku Waza, Ippon, ohyo and Kihon Kumite
plus Pinan and six advanced Katas. This was followed by Gyo and Kumite. Ryan was
the only student on the day so the grade was fast paced and very hot.

Chris Rowen Seminar 3
Shihan Chris Rowen’s third seminar with the club was another great session. If a little painful for some.
Shihan Chris Rowen seminar will be held in August and dates will be posted soon.
Iain Abernethy Seminar 10
Sensei Abernethy held another successful seminar at our new dojo in Bridgwater. The seminar was based around ground fighting techniques found in kata. The session was technical giving the attendees time to practice the drills presented by Iain. Our next seminar in April will be drill based ground work using kata bunkai.
